Reset the light only after completing the service. The reset process is straightforward: Get into the car. Close all four doors. While the ignition is off, press and hold the "000/trip" button. While doing this, turn the ignition key to the "on" position. The service light will flash for a few seconds. Turn off the ignition and then turn it back on. The light should now be off.
