Descriptive guide for replacing the battery on a 2011 Triumph Street Triple. Obtain a Yuasa YTX14H-BS battery or equivalent, 12v 12Ah positive SX, 150x87x145mm. Position the motorcycle on the side stand. Using a cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the three retaining screws of the front tank cover. Be careful with the plastic washers, then disconnect the cover. Using a ratchet and an 8mm socket, unscrew the two retaining screws of the tank. Remove the seat and lift the tank from the front. Use a prop to support the raised tank. Disconnect the battery retaining spring and using a cross-head screwdriver or a 10mm socket, unscrew the two terminals connected to the poles. Replace the battery with the new one and reassemble everything as per disassembly.
