The engine of the Garelli VIP can be disassembled by first removing it from its seat, loosening all the bolts that fix it to the appropriate supports. Once the engine block has been freed from the supports and the connectors connected to it, it will be possible to completely remove the piston from the connecting rod, by widening the corresponding circlip. Once the piston has been removed, it will be possible to also detach the pedals, thus removing the pins that fix the protective covers of the internal components of the engine. The crankshaft or any other internal components can thus be removed and replaced.
