To disassemble the Garelli VIP engine, you need to loosen the screws that secure it to its housing in the center of the frame. You will also need to disconnect the connectors attached to the engine and detach the intake and exhaust manifolds. You can now begin to remove the cylinder head and cylinder by loosening the corresponding screws: the piston inside must be detached from its connecting rod so that access to the crankshaft is possible. This can be replaced to insert the necessary new replacement parts.
