The engine of the Garelli VIP can be completely disassembled by first removing it from its housing, loosening all the bolts that secure it to the appropriate supports. Once the engine has been freed from the supports and the connectors attached to it, it will be possible to detach the piston from the connecting rod by widening the corresponding ring. After the piston has been removed, it will also be possible to detach the pedals by removing the pins that secure the protective covers of the engine's internal components. These can now be accessed and replaced if necessary.
