Replacing the Key Battery on a Ducati Motorcycle

Today, we will show you a quick and simple maintenance task that not everyone knows: replacing the Ducati key battery. First, press the appropriate button to release the key as shown in the video.

Now, remove the upper cover, which is really simple: just push it slightly with your fingers and slide it out of its housing. Voila! Here is the battery! Remove it by hand or with a small flat screwdriver: it is a CR2032. Insert the new battery you purchased and reassemble the key by refitting the snap-on cover.
