How to Replace the Battery in a Volkswagen Tiguan

Today, you will replace the battery in the Volkswagen Tiguan. Open the bonnet by pulling the lever located in the driver's footwell. Locate the battery position, covered by a felt cloth. First, disconnect the negative terminal (the black one) and then proceed with the positive terminal (red). Unscrew all the fasteners holding the battery in place. Now, remove the battery. Clean all contact points. Install the new battery of the same type and proceed to reattach the bolts. Close everything up, and you are done. Test if the battery works correctly, and that’s it.
