DIY Installation Guide for the Draw-Tite Tow Bar on the Volkswagen ID.4

Model: Volkswagen Id 4 MK 1 - Years 2020-2026

As shown in the video, to mount the tow bar on the Volkswagen ID.4, you will need to remove the 6 screws that hold the outer part under the boot. Remember to also remove the two screws positioned further inside under your car, as clearly seen in the video. Remove the plastic wheel cover and unscrew two more screws for each wheel. Unscrew all necessary screws as shown in the video, including the number plate. Disconnect the entire bumper by unplugging the connector. Unscrew a few more bolts and position your tow bar. Tighten screws and bolts to ensure the tow bar is secure. Perform all operations in reverse order to how you did them at the beginning.

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
