How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat

This tutorial outlines the steps required to reset the service light on a Volkswagen Passat B8. Get in the vehicle and press the ignition button once to turn on the instrument cluster without starting the vehicle. The display will show the service light warning; turn off the instrument cluster and press the 0.0 button located at the bottom of the display. Turn on the instrument cluster and release the 0.0 button. Now press the button again and confirm the reset. You can check the vehicle information through the navigation display to verify the successful operation.
