To replace the clutch on a Yamaha Road Star 1700, loosen the bolts securing the cover of the casing on the left side of the bike. Once these bolts are loosened, you can detach the cover and access the clutch underneath. Release the clutch from its housing by loosening all the bolts securing the clutch discs, allowing them to be completely extracted. At this point, insert the new clutch into its place and cover everything with the previously removed casing cover.
