Answer

The overdrive transmission is a mechanical system, linked to the gearbox of a car, which increases the transmission ratio; allows a car to increase speed by reducing engine revs and saving fuel. Possible causes of overdrive failure can be a faulty transmission switch, valve body, or faulty ECM. The fault codes must be read with an OBD II scanner, via the OBD socket. An OBD II Scanner does not cost much, around 100 euros and can help us on many occasions, especially if we want to work around our car.
