Answer

The problems encountered on the Mazda CX3 diesel filter are due to the fact that the filter cartridge is positioned near the tank, about 40 cm from the left rear wheel and therefore particularly exposed to outside temperatures. In the event of cold temperatures, the filter freezes causing loss of power or total interruption of the supply of diesel fuel from the pump to the engine. Therefore, even using additives or an "Arctic" fuel, as suggested by the company, the problem unfortunately remains. A definitive solution from Mazda is awaited.
