Why did the exhaust warning light come on in the Ford EcoSport?

Answer

If the exhaust warning light has come on in the Ford EcoSport dashboard, it means that the particulate filter is clogged. If yellow, the clogging will be slight, if red it will be severe. In the first case the car will autonomously start a cleaning procedure that must not be interrupted by switching off the engine, in the second case we will have to go to the workshop to carry out a manual cleaning.
