Answer

Several have complained about a problem with the fuel gauge on this model. For example, the fuel gauge happened to say that the tank was only 1/4 full, when in fact it was 3/4 full. Sometimes even after turning off the engine and restarting the problem remains. One cause could be a faulty float sensor or some dirt or slag problem within the fuel that alters the gauge. In both cases it is advisable to have a specialized technician checked.
