The procedure to manually reset the maintenance light on your Toyota 4Runner is very simple and can be easily performed by anyone. Below are the steps required.

First, insert the key and turn on the ignition. Make sure to display the total miles driven on the screen, then turn off the ignition.

At this point, press and hold the button located to the right of the dashboard while simultaneously turning the ignition back on. Wait for the reset to complete and release the button.
