The Volkswagen Up has problems with the gearbox, more specifically with the flywheel of the dual mass gearbox. Then it was recalled for side airbags that hadn't been programmed correctly from the factory, and were in danger of not deploying in the event of a crash. Many users have complained about minor electrical problems, such as the windows or with the external lighting. Another common problem is the coils, which are often replaced to fix the problem.
