In the Volkswagen Transporter T4, the fourth model of the Transporter produced and sold by Volkswagen between 1990 and 2003, the OBD2 port is located inside the cabin, beneath the steering column. It is protected by a rubber cover that can be easily opened. For those who are unaware, the OBD2 port is the evolution of the well-known OBD port and, like its predecessor, is used to connect the vehicle to a computer via a specific cable. This connection allows for computerised diagnostics and makes it easier to identify vehicle performance issues.
