Answer

After changing the brake pads, the BMW X1 keeps the warning light on. To reset it, you need to press and hold the mileage reset button and press the "bc" button until the red brake icon appears. Then, continue to hold the "bc" button until the word "reset" appears. Keep holding it until the mileage until the next service interval appears.
