To reset the brake wear light on the BMW X1, turn on the ignition by rotating the key in the ignition switch. Once the dashboard is on, press and hold the button located to the left of the dashboard until the icon of the car with the brake wear light appears.

Then, release the button briefly and press it again for a few seconds: when the indicators for replacing the pads turn green, you can release the button.
