How do you reset the brake wear indicator light on the BMW X1?

In order to replace the brake wear indicator light of the BMW X1, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once this is turned on, you can press and hold the button at the bottom left of the panel. A menu with options will appear, which you can scroll through by repeatedly pressing the button in this position: when the option with the remaining kilometers until the brake pad replacement appears, you must press and hold the button again until the indicator light and interval are reset.
