The sensation for those who try it for the first time is strange: it seems that the clutch "slips", but this is due to the fact that the car first revs, and only then finds the appropriate ratio, therefore the exact opposite of a normal automatic transmission. To drive well you have to adapt to a constant speed, so as not to feel jerks or variations. So a very different driving philosophy. And not all drivers appreciate this aspect, which even to the ear turns out to be special.
