Before removing the CVT (continuous, automatic gearbox) in the Piaggio Fly 150, we place our motorcycle in a stable and safe way (in this case on the stand), so that the operator's safety is safeguarded. This precaution must be taken whenever a maintenance operation is to be carried out on a motorcycle or a machine. Now, we unscrew the screws that secure the CVT block and remove the elements that interfere with the operation. We remove the oil port cap, block the rear wheel and unscrew the bolt relating to the transmission. At this point, we can remove the CVT block cover. We unscrew the pin of the front gear and remove all the elements, the rubber chain and the rear gear. This way, that's it!

How do you change the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS?

The replacement of the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS is carried out by loosening the bolts that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike. Once this plate has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the drain plug below, so that the used oil can be collected inside a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug you will find the oil filter, which in turn must be extracted and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, it will be possible to top up from the special vent on the crankcase to the left of the bike.
