The electronic problems of the Lincoln Aviator occur especially when the car is exposed to rain: in fact, there is a defect in the windshield seal, which would allow air to pass inside the engine compartment. The water could then reach the control unit and damage it, causing the malfunction of all the electronic components of the car, including the headlights. When this problem occurs it is recommended to replace the control unit and also the gasket.
