The first thing to do to reset the oil light in the Lincoln Aviator is to press down the silver button on the right side of the steering wheel. This will allow you to access the settings menu called "settings". In this screen, as you can see, there is an option for "oil life" which refers to the remaining time before the next oil change.

Press the button to the right again to enter the "Oil life" screen and then hold it until the percentage returns to 100%. This way, you have reset the oil light, which will only turn on at the time of the next maintenance.
