As shown in this tutorial, resetting the oil service light on a Lincoln Aviator is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before doing this, ensure you have completed all scheduled maintenance tasks.

Start by inserting the key and turning on the instrument cluster; it is not necessary to start the engine. Then, move the selector down located on the right side of the steering wheel to enter the maintenance menu.

Once this is done, move it to the right and, as indicated on the instrument display, keep it on the "OK" position to perform the reset.
