To adjust the brightness of the lighting on your Lincoln MKZ, look to the left of the steering column, where - on both Ford and Lincoln vehicles - there is a dial that controls the headlights. In this case, there are two small buttons that help you adjust the brightness of the instrument cluster.

Pressing the button with the "minus" sign will decrease the brightness, while pressing the button with the "plus" sign will increase it. This will be particularly useful at night or on particularly sunny days when you need to enhance the visibility of the instrumentation.
