In order to remove the exterior rearview mirror of the Alfa Romeo 156 you have to remove the triangular plastic cover, which is located on the inside of the door. Below it, there will be three ten-piece bolts that need to be loosened with the appropriate wrench. At the same time it will be necessary to disconnect the cable that connects the mirror to the rest of the door, opening the appropriate clip. Once the bolts have been loosened and the cable disconnected, the exterior rearview mirror can be removed. To mount a new one, just follow the previous operations in reverse.
