How to Monitor DPF Blockage on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta

If the warning light comes on indicating that the vehicle needs regeneration, Alfa Romeo suggests driving for about 15 minutes at 2,000 RPM in 5th gear on the motorway (around 80 mph) to raise the temperature of the DPF. Therefore, use your OBD2 reader (available at various prices on major e-commerce platforms, starting from £19.00). The application is only for Android phones and is called "ALFADPF". Connect the OBD2 reader, turn on the ignition, and open the app. It shows how blocked the DPF is and many other parameters. This application is very useful for those who primarily use it in the city.
