In this video, you will see how to remove the crankshaft oil seal, in this case from an Alfa Romeo 75. The oil seal body consists of a metal structure, which provides a certain level of resistance and stability; this is then covered by a compound that not only coats the metal structure but also acts as a seal thanks to the lip and any spring. Once the flywheel and stator are removed, the oil seal is positioned with the lip facing inward towards the casing. The oil seal is always removed with a screwdriver, taking care not to break anything and proceeding with caution.
