To change the motor oil of an Aprilia RS 457, start by positioning the motorcycle on a central or side stand to ensure stability. Make sure the engine is warm but not hot. Locate the oil drain plug, usually located on the lower side of the engine. Using a suitable wrench, unscrew the plug and place a suitable container under the engine to collect the used oil. Allow the used oil to completely drain into the container. Once the oil drain plug is empty, securely replace the plug. Next, locate the oil filler cap, usually located on the engine housing. Remove the cap and use a funnel to pour new motor oil into the tank. Consult the owner's manual for the correct type and quantity of oil. Once the oil is added, close the filler cap. Start the engine for a few minutes and check for any oil leaks. Finally, check the oil level using the dipstick and add oil if necessary to bring it to the correct level. Remember to properly dispose of the used oil at an authorized collection center.

In order to reset the Oil Check light on the Sym VF 185, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once the panel is on, you can press and hold the button located at the bottom right of the instrument panel for a few seconds. You will need to continue holding the button for a few seconds and then release it before pressing the next button.
