How to repair the instrument panel of an Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 8V, MK 3 - Years 2012-2019
Part: Instrument cluster

We can see in this video how to repair the instrument panel of an Audi A3 8V, which has a non-functioning LCD screen. First, we disconnect the negative pole of the battery, then we go to the instrument panel and remove the plastic gasket located on the bottom, in order to remove the entire cluster. We remove the four screws that secure the back cover, and we pry on the two clips that allow us to remove the cover from its housing. Now we remove the electrical connectors from the electronic board, turn over the dial and remove the hands from the speedometer and tachometer. We remove the attachment of the LCD screen from the board, and now we can remove the screen from its housing. In the meantime, we will have procured a new screen, for example on mr-key.com with the code 8L0920931F at a price of 55.99 euros (however, we do not have information about shipping costs). We reconnect the new screen, reassemble the mask and the hands, making sure they rotate correctly, and we reassemble the cluster in its place. We verify the functioning of the LCD screen.
