How do you replace the gear knob of the Audi A6?

It will be possible to replace the gear knob of the Audi A6 by using an object to lever off the fixing ring located at the base of the knob itself: once this ring has been removed, it will be possible to grab the old knob in order to remove it from the top of the gear selector. Once the old knob has been removed, it will be possible to position the new one on the end of the lever and then fix it: it will need to be secured with the clamp on the bottom and ensure that it does not move.
