How to Set the Tire Pressure Monitor on the Audi A6 C8

The tire pressure monitoring system on the Audi A6 C8 (covering the years from 2011 to 2024) is of the "indirect" type. This means it does not measure the actual pressure but detects changes in the wheel rotation speed to determine if a tire is losing air. Check and inflate the tires: first, ensure that all four tires are inflated to the correct pressure. Find the values on the sticker on the driver's door jamb or in the owner's manual. It is important to do this on "cold" tires (vehicle stationary for at least 3 hours) for an accurate measurement. Turn on the ignition and navigate the MMI menu, press the physical "CAR" button near the gear shift, and in the menu that appears, select the options in the following order: Settings and then Service. Enter "Tire Pressure Loss Indicator" and you will see the option to "Store Tire Pressures". Select it and confirm the choice with "yes". The system will recalibrate while driving.
