Model: Audi A3 8P, MK 2 - Years 2003-2013
Part: Engine

Before installing the new valve cover gasket, clean the gasket seating thoroughly (both on the cylinder head side and the cover side); apply gasket sealant at the two ends of the camshaft where there is a radius; insert the rubber washers over the studs, then the gasket and the cover; at this point, place the other rubber washers, the metal caps and tighten the fastening nuts with a properly calibrated torque wrench, ensuring that the gasket does not protrude from the edges, remaining within its seating.
