To replace the center display on an Audi A4, use a tool like a screwdriver to pry off the plastic trim around the center screen. This will expose the screws that secure the unit to its housing. By loosening these screws, you can completely remove the screen and disconnect its connectors from the back. At this point, you can connect the new screen to these connectors. The new screen can now be inserted into its slot, secured with the screws, and the plastic cover reinstalled.
