To replace the rear shock absorber of the BMW R60, you need to loosen the screws that secure it to its housing: these will be located at the top and bottom of the shock absorber itself, corresponding to the swingarm and the fender. Once the mounting screws of the corresponding shock absorber have been loosened, it will be possible to completely remove the part from its seat and insert the new one: this can be properly secured with the respective screws, and the same operation will need to be performed on the other side as well.
