You can replace the battery in the BMW G 310 GS by inserting the ignition key into the designated side lock of the bike, allowing you to detach the seat for complete removal. Once the seat is removed, you will have access to the components underneath, including the battery: it can be freed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and removing its securing bolts.

This way, the battery can be taken out and replaced with a new part, which should then be covered by reattaching the seat.
