You can replace the front brake pads on a BMW K1600 GT by loosening the screws that secure the brake caliper to its housing: once the caliper screws are loosened, you can detach it and slide out the pin that holds the pads in their housing. At this point, you can remove them so that you can position the new ones and secure them with the corresponding pin: you can then reposition the caliper onto the disc to ensure it is secured and check its correct operation.
