Start the engine to warm it up, making it less viscous. Open the top cap of the engine oil compartment by simply unscrewing it by hand, and then unscrew the 8mm bolt located underneath the scooter to drain the lubricant. Why open the top hole first? This will prevent a vacuum, and with the airflow, it will help expel all the used oil, which you will collect in a container (dispose of it properly). Once done, screw the drain bolt back in and fill with new lubricant through the top hole.
