Use the appropriate wrench to remove the saddle from its seat. This must be done because you will later have to remove the upper part of the tank by unscrewing the torx t25. Remove this protection by working slowly to avoid breaking the interlocking clips. At this point, all you have to do is extract the air filter box, a very simple operation were it not for all the cables that pass through the area. Once you have succeeded in doing this, remove the dirty filter and insert the new one, obviously mounting it in the same direction. Put the box back in place and screw on the upper protection of the tank.

How do I replace the Harley Davidson Tri Glide air filter?

In order to replace the Harley Davidson Tri Glide air filter, you need to remove the chrome cover located in the upper part of the crankcase cover on the right side of the bike. Once this part has been removed, it will be possible to access the central screw that fixes the crankcase cover: by unscrewing it, it will be possible to remove the crankcase and access the filter below. This can therefore now be removed from its housing so that a new one can be inserted; after this has been inserted, it will be possible to close everything by fixing the crankcase cover.
