In this video, you will see the steps to perform the regular maintenance service by changing the oil and oil filter on a BMW F800 GT motorcycle. First, position your motorcycle on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine using a Torx key; allow the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point, unscrew the oil filter using the appropriate tool; screw in the new one, inserting the gasket and tightening by hand. Now pour the new engine oil into the crankcase!
