Let's see how to remove and replace the battery on a BMW F700 GS motorcycle, as well as on the F800 GS. First, remove the motorcycle seat; then take off the plastic cover above the tank by unscrewing the fixing screws, and disconnect the electrical connector at the back. Next, access the battery compartment and unscrew the side fixing screws with a T30 TORX key; then, using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the bolts from the battery terminals (positive and negative). Finally, remove the battery and replace it with a new one!
