How to change the engine oil and oil filter of the BMW K1200 RS

This video will illustrate the procedure necessary to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, of the BMW K1200 RS motorcycle. First of all, we put our motorcycle on the stand and begin to unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter with the special wrench, replacing the cartridge with the new one (by gently tightening). Then unscrew the filler cap and top up with the new oil, having the characteristics suitable for our engine!

How to change the engine oil of Suzuki RM-Z450?

In order to replace the engine oil of the Suzuki RM-Z450 you have to loosen the screws that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike; once this has been removed, it will be possible to go and unscrew the oil drain plug located in the part previously covered by the plate. Therefore all the used oil must be collected in a suitably positioned container; when all the oil has run out, the oil filter can be removed and replaced. Then you will have to top up by inserting the new oil from the vent on the crankcase on the left of the bike.
