To replace the air filter on the BMW S 1000 RR, you need to remove the cover from the front of the tank, located just below the handlebars. Once this panel is removed, you will have access to the components underneath, allowing you to detach the clips securing the air filter in its housing.

The filter can then be removed from its position and replaced with a new spare part, which should be secured with the clips. Finally, reinstall the cover on the front of the tank.
