To change the engine oil of the BMW G310 GS, you need to loosen the bolts securing the engine guard plate located in the lower central area of the bike. Once these bolts are loosened and the plate is removed, you can locate the side drain plug on the left side of the motorcycle. Unscrewing it will allow all the used oil to flow into a suitably positioned container; once the oil has drained, you can unscrew the oil filter located at the lower front of the motorcycle, replacing it with a new one and topping up from the breather on the right side.
