In this tutorial, you will see how to access the battery in a BMW R1200 GS, a very simple and quick operation to perform if you need to charge or replace it. First, ensure that the instrument panel is off, then move to the right side of the bike and, using a Torx T25 key, unscrew the single fixing bolt of the plastic cover.

Next, detach the rubber strap and remove the additional panel.

To remove the battery, simply disconnect the negative terminal, pull it out, and disconnect the positive terminal.

Replacing the Rear Brake Pads of the BMW G310 GS
