How to access the battery in the BMW R1200 GS?

In this tutorial, we can see how to access the battery in the BMW R1200 GS, a very simple and quick operation to be performed in case we need to recharge or replace it. First of all, make sure that the instrument panel is turned off, then move to the right side of the motorcycle and, using a Torx T25 key, unscrew the single plastic cover fixing bolt. Then, release the rubber strap and remove the additional panel. To remove the battery, it will be sufficient to disconnect the negative terminal, remove it, and disconnect the positive terminal.

First of all we put the stand on our motorbike and we begin to lift the front wheel from the ground; after which we unscrew the fixing screws of the brake caliper, in order to remove it from the disc, as shown in the video. At this point we unscrew the central pin of the wheel, in order to remove it; then let's proceed with the replacement of the front tire, following the video tutorial to the end!
