How to Remove the Navigation Screen

In this short video, you will see the process of removing the CID (Control Information Display) on a BMW E60 5 Series. First, remove the small torx screws (using a T10 wrench) located on the right and left of the panel. This way, the navigation screen can be extracted. Now, disconnect the wiring that connects the display to the radio unit below it: to do this, detach the connector located at the back of the screen at the top right. Lift the white lever at the end of the cable, then disconnect it from the video unit.
