How to Repair the Passenger Side Handle on a Holden Captiva

As shown in the video, to repair the passenger side handle on the Chevrolet Holden Captiva, you need to work from inside the door by unscrewing the three Phillips screws located inside the door opening. At this point, remove the inner cover by disengaging it from the clips. Take off the cover corresponding to the handle, and the problem lies in the fact that a pin no longer holds. Use an electric drill to make a small hole (large enough for a zip tie) in the body near the handle and in the pin as shown in the video. You should also apply some glue to ensure it does not move.
