After heavy use, the gear knob of the Dacia Sandero may show signs of wear that may lead us to decide to replace it, perhaps with a more attractive model. To replace it, we sit in the driver's seat, detach the base of the leatherette boot, and pull it up to reveal the base of the knob. We cut the strap that holds it in place and remove it. We firmly grip the old knob and pull it upwards with small rotations until it comes off. We insert the new knob, pull up the base of the boot, secure the top of the boot to the base of the knob with a strap, pull the boot down and lock the base.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open. Pull this lever towards you until you hear a "click" indicating the bonnet is released. Next, exit the cabin and stand in front of the bonnet to disengage the safety catch and complete the opening. To do this, slightly lift the bonnet, locate the yellow lever underneath, and pull it to the left to fully release and open the bonnet.
