To replace the knob, we first need to remove the gear lever gaiter. To do this, we need to lift the gaiter with a screwdriver and then remove the clamp located at the base of the knob with pliers. Remove both the knob and gaiter by pulling upwards. Then, insert the new gaiter and knob and test the gear lever functionality.
